Testosterone is the principle male hormone and controls a wide range of vital body functions. It is the hormone behind your hard muscles, strength and height factors. However, the production of this hormone begins declining after the age of thirty which often leads to a whole lot of changes in your body.

Though Testosterone therapy can be helpful in restoring testosterone levels,a more natural and safe way is to try and increase testosterone production with the help of some foods.

Foods that can increase testosterone secretion are rich in zinc. One of the best example of such foods is oysters.

Oysters are rich in zinc and for long have been used to enhance libido. However, oysters are feed at the bottom of the sea which is getting more and more polluted. In such a case, animal protein appears to be a better solution.

Zinc from animal protein is most readily accepted and absorbed by the human body. This gives you another reason to treat yourself lavishly with steak.

Apart form red meat. foods that can help increase testosterone production include poultry. Chicken wings, breasts and thighs are all abundant in zinc. Turkey, goose and duck can also give a boost to your testosterone levels.

Besides animal protein, beans, nuts and dairy products can also be highly effective.

Besides there are highly effective supplements that comprise of potent herbs and other ingredients that can also enhance you testosterone secretion.
