@Weintraubeheld221 Most of the world western world uses a socialised healthcare system because it's been proven to be better. That's why the UK has the 18th best healthcare, Italy is second and France is right at the top. The French healthcare system allows you to call a doctor out to you for free at the point of need and examine you in your own house. Sounds terrible I know but those French bastards are just to damn democratic...you know, giving you democracy and all.

A boy in a 2 tier system (that's what's being proposed) was taken to the US so he could be treated for hundreds of thousands of dollars or suffer the same fate (being turned down). Europe has no DEATH PANELS. I don't know where you're on about but an example would be nice. The UK has the 18th best healthcare system in the world. Canada is at 30. So why is the US so great?

@Osambasucks2 Our "death panels" do nothing of the sort but I'm sure denying a child surgery because they have no insurance is a whole different story...Also people in the US work into there retirement years because otherwise they don't have healthcare. A problem that could be solved with socialised healthcare.

Running at a loss? Less doctors? MORE money is put into HEALTHCARE therefore there are MORE doctors, MORE drugs, MORE nurses. Don't you understand basic mathematics? Look at Europe. You know, the continent with more money than you and socialised healthcare that's better than your healthcare system. Less administration means quicker care for patients. Again, research. Local services are authorised by the government. Accurate comparison to fire-fighters. Profits are off the top as I explained. |
