@ArizonaYlcat Yes as a matter of fact our country was founded of constitutional Libertarian ideals. With small government and no socialist programs. The Federal government had very little power like it should. And those principles are what made America the world power it used to be. Once we started turning our back on it and spent too much, taxed too much and adopted socialist methods thats when our country started to slip into the condition it is in today.

@246alive Obamacare is socialist. Government control of healthcare is socialist. Under the new law, a dozen or so unelected bureaucrats are to be in charge of "cost-cutting". This is acknowledged to include whether life-saving procedures should be carried out,etc. Socialism is all about concentrating power. And that's what Obamacare is all about. More power to the government and healthcare industry. Less power to the individual who should be allowed to make his own decisions.

Public schools ought to be run by local school boards not federal bureaucrats unaccountable to the people they're supposedly helping. So, if the question is do I dislike the current public school system. Hell yes!!! Watch the movie Waiting For Superman and see what unlimited federal interference has done to our educational system.

How about Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Mike Lee and a few others who are COMPLETELY not affected by ANY interest groups? Unlike most democrats who are cronies just like most republicans. The dems support the bologna wars and the bailouts and the fed and the carbon trading bill (would have been big $ for banks) and my understanding is that many parts of obamacare WERE WRITTEN BY INSURANCE COMPANIES. The fact is that BOTH parties are selling us out to the elites, and people need to wake up.
