<description>I take exception to one part in this article. When it comes to overexposure from the sun I am now learning that using a &quot;proven&quot; sun-block with high SPF protection may protect your skin from too much sun, but it can also cause cancer. The best protection from the sun is to cover up. Wearing light reflective clothing is better than putting cancer causing chemicals all over your body.

Think about it. Our skin is the largest organ in the body. The skin will absorb chemicals from the sun-block and into the bloodstream.

Use the sunblock once and you can get away with it and, yes, even protect your skin from too much sun exposure. Use it twice and you may be fine again.

But if you keep using it, you are increasing your risk factors for contracting skin cancer.

Question - Why is it that more people get skin cancer in North America than in Africa?

The sun is more intense in Africa and yet we succumb to the commercialization efforts of industries that purport to &quot;help&quot; us with their drugs.
